Ceramics

Ceramics are much more than just a simple cup or plate, they can be sculptures and vessels to provide meaning and a specific purpose.  Ceramics can form a specific use to the person and they can also be visually pleasing as well.  They can tell stories and bring the user into the artist's mindset.  Ceramics are also used as a way of defining specific cultures.  Ceramics are also a very cheap way to make items to sell to tourists.  Ceramics are also used as a way of symbolizing good hygiene like in toilets.
